Can Taking Detoxifing Anti-oxidant Supplements Affect The Hormones I Am Taking?
July 3rd, 2009 • Related • Filed Under
I am a mtf trans girl taking 6mg of estradiol per day. I am also taking a supplement called GLUTATHIONE. It is said to be very good for the skin and overall health and has the effect of lightening the skin. Being an anti-oxidant and an id in cleansing the liver, will it have an effect on the estrogen i am taking? Does the body read hormones as free radicals or some sort of toxins that need to be released if you are using anti-oxidants?

Hormones are “signals”, the body totally know what they are and they cannot be recognized as radicals. Free radicals are molecules having an unpaired electrons that damages and ruins the balance of cells. They are totally 2 different things.
It is ok to take the hormones and Glutathione pills as long as you dont take them at the same time.
Have at least 3-hour interval before taking the gluta or vice versa
I know it for a fact because im also a user and a distributor of Glutathione Whitening Pills – http://www.superwhiteningpills.net
Good day

yes. All drugs have some interaction with one another. you can consult your physician or your local pharmacist about the effects of the antioxidants. If it does have an effect it will be small or very mild as to how effective the hormones are. This would only increase the length of time that you are on them.

I would consult a doctor. But I don’t think so.
