Does Epsom Salt (magnesium Sulfate) Play Any Role In The Body’s Detoxification System?

I know sulfation and the like do important things in the body, but what are they?
Does it help your body detoxify, or help the liver do its job better? glutathione maybe? just wondered if anybody knew this.
thanks

It isn’t a liver cleanser – you want milk thistle seed for that – can be bought in pill form and is very effective. About 700 mg at night before bed will help support the liver.
Epsom salt in the bath is a slight detoxifier, there are stronger ways to detoxify. But, a weekly bath with 2 cups Epsom salt added to the bath is a fine way to lightly detoxify. An Epsom salt bath can be stressing to the body if longer than 20 minutes though (due to pulling toxins out of your body). I usually take mine at night before bed, since it also is great for relaxing. If you worked hard and your muscles are sore or tired, it is also a good thing to do.
I quite assure you that if you digest epsom salts it will pass right through and out of your back door in a relatively liquid state. If you take two tablespoons of epson salts you will literally be pissing out of your *** (metaphorically speaking) in half an hour to an hour’s time.
well, its a laxative. im sure it helps to clean your bowels. ..
I dont know about helping the liver work better, but I do know that it will cleanse your system thoroughly. Perhaps its worthe the try..
Use in bath and in foot bath. It will relax your muscles and detoxify your skin that way.
Colonic irrigation is better for cleansing inside the whole body.
