Is It True That Milk Whitens Skin?

If so, do you just rub it in or something?

  1. Milk has lactic acid which loosens dead skin cells. Milk doesn’t whiten or lighten the skin per se. It just promotes exfoliation so a fresher layer of skin is exposed quicker.
You can dilute it w/ water & use it w/ a wash cloth as a compress. You can add 2-4 cups in to a bath & soak in it for
    15 -20 minutes.

  2. I don’t know about whitening skin but I do know that you can use milk to soften and give nutrients to your skin. It gives you a nice healthy glow.

  3. Unfortunately it’s an old wives tale. The only thing you can really do is avoid the sun and wear a lot of sunblock.

  4. it is true…..but it has to be goats breast milk

  6. I think your skin is white enough. Don’t worry about it, you have enough calcium in your “skin”.

  7. It’s not true………………………….
