How Can I Tell What Color I Am?
December 18th, 2009 • Related • Filed Under
I am african american. Almost everyone in my family is dark brown, but I don’t think I am. There are some parts of my body that are brighter than the other parts since they’re in my clothes all of the time. My arms, face, feet, and somehow my butt are all dark, but I think it’s a tan. Can someone tell me some organic and simple remedies for whitening and brightening my skin? I don’t think tans are really natural, especially when I’m already african american.

I don’t know about the “whitening” part…
As an African-American woman, I simply got brighter by lessening sun exposure. I am a former track athlete, and the constant exposure to the sun brought me down a few shades. L0l
Soon after I graduated college and started working, my natural caramel-completion came right back.

I know loadsa girls who are african american and have different tones, even us white girls have that…don’t worry about the different tones in your skin – its not a problem and def not worth using money to ‘fix’
