  1. You dont say how old you are. I had oily skin when I was younger and have open pores. Why do you undergo microdermabrasion every two weeks – I would have thought once a month was a bit much?
I always used non oil based but simple cleansers, then an alcohol free toner and an oil free moisturiser – clinique actually do one called Oil Free Moisturiser.
I found this was enough to keep me looking clean and sparkly and not like a greasy hotplate.
Plenty of water too is the key and what you eat. Watch the diet. Cleansing too harshly is going to adversely affect you in the long run. I am now 50 and dont have any wrinkles at all on my face, never use soap and those years of greasiness have paid off in the fact that my face is still plump skinned and line free and the grease factor has reduced to a very minor amount. I dont do microdermabrasions, or facials, just very simple cleansing routine day and night .
If you are over oily it could be a hormone imbalance so I would take the time to just visit your doctor and see what they say.
Olay products are quite good but its whether its right for you thats the key.

  2. i would listen to your dermatoligist, although it dosent say it is suitable for oily-skinned people, still take her advise, she has looked at your skin, not the olay people, if you trust your dermatoligist to do microdermabrasion, you should trust her now, olay could even be saying its for oily skinned people aswell to get more profit!

  3. If you have a dermatologist, listen to the advice they give you rather than basing your decision on info on the back of a beauty product.

  4. Always take advice from a dermatologist, also sometimes you must watch what you eat and sometimes where you go can cause the skin irritation
