Is There A Skin Care Routine For The Body Just As There Is For The Face?
I have been nicely taking care of my facial skin for years. I have a facial skin care routine: Facial soap, toner, moisturizer, facial scrub, then sunscreen, just like other people. I am also putting some medicine to stop acne from breaking out, but the side effect of this is whitening my facial skin. Because of my routine, I have noticed that my facial skin is clearer, fairer and in good conditions, but is different in contrast with my body skin which I have no routine of taking care of. I just put sunscreen whenever I go out…Is there really a general way of taking care of body skin just like facial skin or do people just leave it like that? (Aside from cleaning it with soap)…:D

In a way, facial skin is more high maintenance than body skin but yes, you do have to pamper body skin a little bit. Start with using a good exfoliator/body scrub in the shower at least twice a week. In addition to sunscreen, make sure you are using a good body moisturizer cream/lotion. After showering, apply the moisturizing cream/lotion all over. Always make sure you never feel any tightness of skin anywhere. Keep your skin hydrated by drinking lots of water and eating right.
