Been wanting to buy a whitening essence, but dunno which brand is effective. Btw, I’m a chinese, wanna find something that suits asian skin. Anyone tried using the following brands – Clarins/Biotherm/Laneige/Shiseido/Cliniq…
Pls give some feedbacks on these brands~
Thanks!!

You can try these home remedies to remove tan & lighten skin:
Mix 1 table spoon of milk powder, 1 table spoon of honey, 1 table spoon of lemon juice, and ½ table spoon of almond oil. Apply on face and wash off after 10-15 minutes. This pack helps bring shine to the skin and also removes tan.
Mix oatmeal with curd and tomato juice and apply on the face. Keep it on for 20 minutes and then wash it off with cold water. It helps remove the tan and lightens the skin.
Place sliced raw potato on the face. It helps reduce blemishes and other marks.
Applying turmeric powder along with lime juice removes the tan. Lime juice is natural bleach.
Dried orange peels mixed with curd also help reduce blemishes and scars. Wash off this mixture with cold water after 15 minutes.
Soak 4 almonds overnight. Grind into a fine paste using milk. Apply on face and neck and leave it overnight. Wash with cold water in the morning. Do this daily for 15 days, followed by twice a week.
A table spoon of gram flour mixed with 2 table spoon of raw milk and 2-3 drops of lime juice works well for lightening dark skin. Apply this mixture and leave it for 15 minutes before washing off. Repeat for 4 weeks and follow up with once a week.
Apply a paste of fresh ground mint leaves and leave it for about 20 minutes. Wash with cold water, continue for 15 days.
Apply a mixture of grated tomato with 2-3 drops of lime juice on the face. Leave it for 20 minutes before washing off. Do this twice a day for 15-20 days for best results.
Mary Kay has an even essence complexion which works with all skin tones. It lightens the trouble spots but not the whole face. It is an awesome product. Go to the link here and check it out.
My brothers asian girlfriend uses Sheseido and she swears by it. I’m about as white as you can get, so I cant give you personal experience, but when she runs out she buys more and you can buy it at sheseido.com.
I feel that Shiseido has better facial products. Clarins is okay, but it makes my skin feel oily. Biotherm and Laneige are new to me. I never tried these two products.
Try Shiseido. They use very good products and they have never caused problems with my skin. I am by the way, allergic to everything, but Shiseido.
try Garnier or L’Oreal. They have for all skin types. they are good.
I’ve never whitened my skin but have you heard of PCA products. They’re very professional products that only dermatologist and licensed professionals use. You cant buy them over the counter but you can find out who carries the PCA line in your area for you to buy. Visit the PCA website. I know they carry a lightening/whitening line. You should look into that. It’s PCASKIN.COM.
for oriental skin types, i suggest Christian Dior facial cream. it works well in jst few days, but ofcorz expect to shell out alot of money for the maintainance of applying it before and after bedtime.Clinique soap is best for clearing the face and neck so it provides you more radiant and fairer face.Swiss glutathione soap is another one, well it really whitens skin plus dark spots and pimple marks will be less visible.Ofcorz last but not the least, Apricot Radiance by St.Yves exfoliates and gives you a more renewed soft and fair skin…
