Companies like Unilever (and others) spend billions marketing skin whitening products to Filipinos. Why is white skin better? Why do they want to sell a product that changes the natural tone of your skin? Why do some Filipinos want to be white, or let me ask, why are they not happy being dark skinned?
What has happened to our society on this earth when marketing forces attempt to drive people to think that the color of their skin will somehow make their life better, and at the same time make these companies HUGE profits?
This is the measure of rational thinking. This is what it boils down to;
Are you white and superior or dark and inferior?

Whitening Solution For Inner Thighs..?

this is not a big problem but i want to know if there’s available product to lighten the skin in my inner thigh just near my ***** im asian and have a mocha color.. call me silly but i tried cleaning it w/ facial cleanser (w/ papaya).. and also considered the pH level of the facial cleanser.. well, having lighter inner thighs is a big turn on for my bf although he keeps on telling me that it looks great.. but all i want is to lighten my inner thighs.. so please help me..

6yrs ago went for Laser treatment, it was very effective 70% of the blemishes gone but got to bear with the ugly redness for 2 wks and quite costly too. 2 years ago went swimming in the hot sun without apply sunblock. Blemishes came back & was even darker than before. Used Dr Secret’s Pdt but it got worst & turn sensitive. Went National Skin Centre, was prescribed Hydroquinone 4% cream (Eldoquin)-skin bleaching cream. Doctor said cream is very mild, blemishes will be lighter. But whenever I apply my face turned blackish red & itchy, this lasted more than 1 wk before it goes back to normal. Went back & Drs do not know why it causes redness & itch. No faith to go back NSC. Now using Nu Skin Whitening Range (for 7mths)& also tried Verde Whitening(10months& has not continue after I finished). The creams give me no problems nor do they help remove or whiten my blemishes. I feel cheated, both consultants assured me that the products is good & will whiten blemishes within 3-4mths

Penn State University scientists claim to have discovered a genetic mutation responsible for the emergence of white skin between 20,000 and 50,000 years ago. From the Washington Post:
The work suggests that the skin-whitening mutation occurred by chance in a single individual after the first human exodus from Africa, when all people were brown-skinned. That person’s offspring apparently thrived as humans moved northward into what is now Europe, helping to give rise to the lightest of the world’s races.
Leaders of the study, at Penn State University, warned against interpreting the finding as a discovery of “the race gene.” Race is a vaguely defined biological, social and political concept, they noted, and skin color is only part of what race is — and is not.
In fact, several scientists said, the new work shows just how small a biological difference is reflected by skin color. The newly found mutation involves a change of just one letter of DNA code out of the 3.1 billion letters in the human genome — the complete instructions for making a human being.
“It’s a major finding in a very sensitive area,” said Stephen Oppenheimer, an expert in anthropological genetics at Oxford University, who was not involved in the work. “Almost all the differences used to differentiate populations from around the world really are skin deep.”

Hi, I am indian, but I currently live in the U.S. I came to the US when I was 7, I think. So I am basically grown up here.
I am going to india this year July, so I want to know what is the BEST way to whiten your skin?? I want this so when I am in India, I won’t be as dark as I was last year.
I accept any kind of face whitening tips, like making own facial masks, own homemade lotions, or like any fruit facial scrubbing….ANYTHING!!!

OK, i want grey hair permanently, and I am willing to take drastic measures to do so. I am actually already somewhat grey, but I want more. Grey hair symbolizes experience, and lord knows, i’ve experienced much suffering( which is, philosopically, the best teacher) in my young life. I love grey hair and everything it represents. Theortically, I have two theories; one of these is to go through laser hair removal, which seems to remove the melanin, but doesnt remove the hair completely until 6-8 sessions, thus; will turn the hair white in 1-2 sessions without removing the hair. The next theortical option is to put hydroquinone in my hair (a skin whitening agent that kills melanin, used by people who want to look more white.) If anyone can shed some information of the aforementioned, please share your knowledge.

I love TV shopping I order everything from there, ab king, sheer cover, cellules, teeth whitening lasers, sheer skin hair removal pads ect I just phone the number all the time when its on the TV.
