cysteine amino acids have thiols that are able to form disulfide bridges/bonds. These play a large part in the shape and stability of proteins:

The disulfide bond stabilizes the folded form of a protein in several ways: 1) It holds two portions of the protein together, biasing the protein towards the folded topology. Expressed differently, the disulfide bond destabilizes the unfolded form of the protein by lowering its entropy. 2) The disulfide bond may form the nucleus of a hydrophobic core of the folded protein, i.e., local hydrophobic residues may condense around the disulfide bond and onto each other through hydrophobic interactions. 3) Related to #1 and #2, the disulfide bond link two segments of the protein chain, the disulfide bond increases the effective local concentration of protein residues and lowers the effective local concentration of water molecules. Since water molecules attack amide-amide hydrogen bonds and break up secondary structure, a disulfide bond stabilizes secondary structure in its vicinity. For example, researchers have identified several pairs of peptides that are unstructured in isolation, but adopt stable secondary and tertiary structure upon forming a disulfide bond between them.

I am a mtf trans girl taking 6mg of estradiol per day. I am also taking a supplement called GLUTATHIONE. It is said to be very good for the skin and overall health and has the effect of lightening the skin. Being an anti-oxidant and an id in cleansing the liver, will it have an effect on the estrogen i am taking? Does the body read hormones as free radicals or some sort of toxins that need to be released if you are using anti-oxidants?

hi!! im using jiaoli cream a skin whitening product for 3 years and its been very effective to my skin and really whiten my skin the side effects is like burning my skin and it peels a few. but after a few months. (i guess 3 months) it wont affect anymore to my skin. and i try to use lemon and it wont effect too. i know that if you use lemon in the face. it feels like burning in skin. when i use lemon i dont feel that burning sensation. and i dont know why. please give me some solution in my problem. i will really apreciate ur answer.

Everything that you ingest goes through your kidneys to be filtered into your bladder for you to excrete.
Now, I have no idea how much of any of these “vitamins” you’re taking, but there is a harmful end to each. You can get scurvy from a lack of vitamin C, and you can overdose on C as well (takes a lot). You need to research each drug and the quantity you’re taking.
If you’re asking if these five specific things can cause negative reactions within you’re body you’d have to talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
TOO MUCH OF ANYTHING IS TOO MUCH! Anything can be fatal (even water).
