My sister has snow white skin but it’s kinda too pale and people often tell her that she looks tired. She hates wearing make-up but she has to, less those “tired” comments will be spoken to her. She saids what she needs is to make her skin glow more. What can she do to have a more “Glow” to her BEAUTIFUL “Snow White Skin” color?

Try to get a very pale-colored highlighter like this one from ELF http://www.eyeslipsface.com/studio/face/shimmer/radiance_enhancer just brighten it up a little pink blush will make her cheeks look a little warmer

red lipstick will brighten up her face, and so will dark hair I would consider dying her hair to a dark brunette and then getting a face framing hair cut. I think an asymmetrical bob with side swept bangs would look good. http://www.hairfinder.com/haircollections2/spring-hairstyle-3.htm it would look like this color and all. try to get her to wear black liner and a sparkly black/silver eyeshadow.
Since she doesn’t like make up Dark colors will play up her face as oppose to light ones

How can I return to my natural hair color after lightening it? I used a hair lightener, not a dye. I had brown hair and then lightened it but it turned orange… (surprise surprise!) And now I dont know what to do! Will having my hair stylest dye it work? Or will it just fade out, back to orange? Do I just need to let it grow out? HELP!

I’m confused by what “olive-skin” refers to. If, say, I tan my pale white skin, does my skin become “olive,” (or is tanned skin called something other than olive- “golden” maybe). What countries/ethnicites have olive skin color?

It like really irritates me because people like that perpetuate that “divide.” People should be classified as mentally ill if they want to go out and throw chemicals on their skin to “lighten” it; that’s my opinion anyway. And that “Filipino” dude makes it seem like everyone wants to be “lighter”, wft?! I have like a light tan color and I do NOT want to be lighter….I know I’m making this into a big deal but it just makes me mad that people still hate themselves over something as petty as skin color. He makes people like me look bad like we’re all self-hating freaks. Why are people like this? I just wish people would accept themselves and spread positive energy around…You never know …little kids absorb self-hatred people have and kind of formulate an idea that one is bad and one is good if people keep pointing out the bad ..when there really is NO bad. And it just boosts the self-esteem of those racists who feed off insecurities of those who hate themselves.

I didn’t read all that but yeah. it pisses me off. I have a friend who is Puertorican and Black and has the perfect tan. But yet she wants to be as pale as me, because people assume she is just black. And that really makes her mad.

Actually in some photos I end up having that skin color, but I think that happens because it’s the lighting.

Black can suit sometimes, but on some people it just makes their skin look even more pale and… a little sick.
A dark red-brown ould look really nice, if it matched the lips.
Most shades of brown would work, but I think chocolate would be nice.

I am african american. Almost everyone in my family is dark brown, but I don’t think I am. There are some parts of my body that are brighter than the other parts since they’re in my clothes all of the time. My arms, face, feet, and somehow my butt are all dark, but I think it’s a tan. Can someone tell me some organic and simple remedies for whitening and brightening my skin? I don’t think tans are really natural, especially when I’m already african american.
