If you go to Phils today, you can find tons of whitening products that are multiplying like a mushroom & its sales are skyrocketing. And there are even some who take glutathione tablets or a trip to a dermatologist for some whitening treatments.
Moreover if you look at those local commercials, the message entails that “white is beautiful” and if you are too tanned, you are ugly. Moreover, some even go to plastic surgeons for nose-lifting, dye their hair blonde (even if it don’t suit them) & wear colored contact lenses.
Whats the big deal about being white & why is it that Filipinos or even other Asians are so obsessed with these things that are literally impossible for them to change? I know about the colonial mentality attitude but can’t they just change it and love their own skin & appearance. Its really very annoying to see people making fun of their dark-skinned fellowmen.

It works on all skin types. I have seen some black people who took the pills and got very good results. Just dont expect that youre skin will be as white as caucasian people since it wont. It can only lighten your skin to a certain extent, I say 5 shades or more.

yeah why? you got whitening soaps, whitening pills (WTF?!?!) whitening, nose surgery etc. I know I lived there and saw commercials and stuff one pill even has this hot Asian girl that claims that the pill is used in the US and in Japan, wtf?

Hi! Just want to ask and share this experience….
I’m taking “Glutatone” (brand name of a glutathione medicine) which i have bought from a dermatologist in Cavite…
While surfing in net I found out that Glutatone is not safe to take.. Just to make sure I called BFAD, and it was confirmed it’s not registered nor approved….
Just want to ask, what is the best brand of Glutathione that is approved by BFAD….?
