Why Did God Create Multicolored People? Why Not Just Create People Who Are All One Color?

That way, people would be more motivated to change who they are inside, rather than how they look on the outside (e.g. Michael Jackson might not be motivated to hit the bleotch and whiten his skin). Thoughts?
