I have dried fair and lovely and the nivea whitening cream but they seem to be working, and make my face dry and sometimes give me pimples.
I cut my bangs recently like Liv Tyler or tyra banks and they look good on me, but the problem is that i get really tanned in the summer, while the forehead area which is covered by the bangs is white so it looks really messed up. Oh and another question, my sisters don’t seem to get as tanned from the sun, they get sunburned (the skin peels off and their face becomes pink) while mine changes color and gets darker. Why is that?

First off let me say that i’m not racist in any way. second i’m a puerto rican proud to be one and am darker than what most people think puerto ricans look like. Let me tell you a story, about 10 years ago whan i was a teenager I was dating this puerto rican of european ancestry and we were really in love. When it was time to meet her parents, I noticed especially with her father that he was looking at me as if I wasn’t going to be accepted by her parents, but it didn’t bother me. 2 days later she told me she couldn’t be with me because i was a black puerto rican and her parents wanted a puerto rican of european ancestry to improve the race or whitening of their family. This is racism right here. my family explained to me that it is not all puerto ricans but there are some who prefer white over black because some think being black is ugly and whitening of their skin will improve their chances of sucess. tell me what you have to say about this.

I have been nicely taking care of my facial skin for years. I have a facial skin care routine: Facial soap, toner, moisturizer, facial scrub, then sunscreen, just like other people. I am also putting some medicine to stop acne from breaking out, but the side effect of this is whitening my facial skin. Because of my routine, I have noticed that my facial skin is clearer, fairer and in good conditions, but is different in contrast with my body skin which I have no routine of taking care of. I just put sunscreen whenever I go out…Is there really a general way of taking care of body skin just like facial skin or do people just leave it like that? (Aside from cleaning it with soap)…:D

I went rafting last March, forgot sunblock, got sunburned (the usual, skin peeling, etc), got tanned skin. The problem is, I was a wearing a t-shirt then so the border line is on my arm. It’s been 5 months, and the difference is still OBVIOUS! I can’t wear sleeveless shirts.
I need my skin to have a balanced tone soon because I’ll be in a wedding and I can’t wear the tube gown!! Heeelp!!
I don’t think regular lotions work. Waaa.

I have very light skin, but it is covered with freckles, patches of brown, red, and yellow, and rosacea. It is very uneven, and when I am not wearing foundation, I look like a burn victim.
I have tried just about every at-home treatment, including lemon-juice, which seems to make these spots darker, not lighter.
Are there any bleaching treatments available that might help whiten my skin?
I also have very large, blocked pores. Will this interfere with the bleaching process?

im rox, 19 and im overweight my problem is that when i walk it causes friction on my inner thigh causing it to darken, is there some way to return my skin to normal that is budget friendly?
